About the Rochester Division serving Webster and the Western New York Region
While Webster’s town motto is “Where Life Is Worth Living”, to our Rochester Division, it’s the town that’s worth paving! From churches and local retail businesses to the Taco Bell and Bayview YMCA, we’re happy to pave the way for the community.
From its convenient location, the Rochester Division focuses on serving the Western New York Area market as well as the western Southern Tier. Founded in Syracuse in 1943, Ruston Paving often traveled to the Rochester area for select projects. As the commute became more frequent, Ruston Paving recognized this opportunity by opening a new division here. Although the Rochester Division initially operated utilizing resources from our Syracuse Division, it quickly became a self sufficient operation. In 1998, the Rochester Division relocated to a newly constructed facility located just off the New York State Thruway (I-90) in Farmington, NY and continues to operate out of this location providing asphalt paving services in Rochester, NY, and the Western New York region.

Delta Sonic
Webster, NY
Ruston Paving completed an impressive asphalt milling and paving project at Delta Sonic in Webster, marked by the construction of a cutting-edge vacuum building. We were awarded the job as the low bidder to JMM Construction that involved fine-grading and paving around the newly erected structure. We also milled and overlayed the drive lane leading to the car wash entrance and the area around the fuel pumps. Navigating the challenge of maintaining limited yet safe access for customers, we showcased our ingenuity in traffic control, ensuring both operations ran smoothly and efficiently. This project also marked the inaugural use of our new tack truck setups in the state of New York, further highlighting Ruston Paving’s commitment to innovation and excellence.
First Responders Park
Webster, NY
First Responders Park in Webster had two old, cracked tennis courts that they wanted to update & transform into one tennis court & two pickleball courts. They hired Superseal Sealcoating for the project, & Superseal hired us to do the paving. The Town of Webster removed all the old pavement, then did a tremendous job installing/grading crushed stone per our discussions. It was our honor to pave these courts at the park dedicated to Webster’s First Responders.

Crews from our Rochester Division recently showcased their expertise in fine grading and asphalt paving at the University of Rochester’s Medical Center’s new facility in Webster, skillfully contributing to the project led by LeFrois Builders. Securing the bid as the low bidder, Ruston Paving was entrusted with the crucial task of preparing the site for the new building. With seamless coordination, crews from our Syracuse Division collaborated to apply the binder in the fall, while the final top course of asphalt was expertly installed the following spring, ensuring the site was impeccably finished for the facility’s intended purpose.

Asphalt Pavement Repair and New Construction
For over 80 years, Ruston Paving has been providing excellent service to our customers. We specialize in both new asphalt pavement construction and asphalt pavement repairs for commercial and industrial projects.
Parking Lots, Roadways and Subdivisions
Asphalt pavement is mostly found on parking lots and roadways. Most of our work involves the construction and repair of these more common asphalt surfaces.
Catch Basin and Storm Drainage Repair, Pothole Repair and Crack Filling
Minor repairs can extend the life of your asphalt pavement. Simple repairs to storm drainage and surface failures can prolong the life of the pavement.
Asphalt Milling and Asphalt Resurfacing & Overlays
Neglected asphalt pavement will require more extensive repairs. This may require the complete removal of the asphalt pavement or a simple resurfacing or overlay of the existing pavement.
Soil Stabilization and Full Depth Reclamation
A detailed site inspection will evaluate the strength of the subgrade for the new asphalt surface. It may be necessary to enhance the underlying materials providing a strengthened foundation to support the new pavement.
Excavation, Grading, Storm Drainage and Stone Base
When a new pavement section is required, we provide a turnkey solution that includes the excavation, grading and installation of the stone base prior to capping it off with a new asphalt pavement surface.
Tennis Courts, Pickleball Courts, Running Tracks, and Walking Trails
Although asphalt is mostly found in parking lots and roadways, we specialize in the repair and construction of less common athletic and recreational surfaces. Examples of these are walking trails, running tracks, tennis courts and pickleball courts.
