About the Rochester Division serving Canandaigua and the Western New York Region
Canandaigua is arguably one of the best places to live in New York. Nestled on the north end of Canandaigua Lake, the town is historic and scenic with a variety of locally-owned shops, galleries, restaurants, and places to stay. Its proximity to our Rochester Division in Farmington allow us to effectively serve the local businesses and community.
From its convenient location, the Rochester Division focuses on serving the Western New York Area market as well as the western Southern Tier. Founded in Syracuse in 1943, Ruston Paving often traveled to the Rochester area for select projects. As the commute became more frequent, Ruston Paving recognized this opportunity by opening a new division here. Although the Rochester Division initially operated utilizing resources from our Syracuse Division, it quickly became a self sufficient operation. In 1998, the Rochester Division relocated to a newly constructed facility located just off the New York State Thruway (I-90) in Farmington, NY and continues to operate out of this location providing asphalt paving services in Rochester, NY, and the Western New York region.
Recent Projects in Canandaigua and the Surrounding Areas
Bristol Mountain
Canandaigua, NY
Bristol Mountain is one our most valued repeat clients. Our relationship began more than 15 years ago with three bidders for their initial parking lot paving project. Ruston Paving was the low bidder, and we have nurtured the relationship from there. Our latest project involved asphalt paving on the entry road to the resort.

Nolan’s on the Lake
Canandaigua, NY
Our Rochester Division’s crews completed an impressive asphalt paving project for Nolan’s on Canandaigua Lake Restaurant. The restaurant owner was impressed by our work at the Canandaigua Country Club and was quick to invite us to quote the construction of his new parking lot. The result? A flawlessly executed parking lot that not only ensures smooth traffic flow but also enhances the overall visual appeal of the restaurant.

Roseland Water Park
Canandaigua, NY
Bristol Mountain, a valued repeat client of Ruston Paving, needed to rehabilitate the entrance road to its family owned and operated facility, Roseland Waterpark. By milling the existing asphalt and installing 2″ of new surface mix, the park’s visitors will be treated to a smooth ride before they even enter the park!
