Our Rochester division recently mobilized its forces to complete repairs to the University of Rochester's Scottsville Road parking lot. This lot is a remote parking area for employees of the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC). As the number one employer in the greater Rochester metropolitan area, the URMC has outgrown the available on-site parking and now provides shuttle bus service to/from this lot and the campus. Originally built on the former location of Logan's party house, the parking lot had several locations that required major structural repairs. Once these repairs were complete, our crews overlaid the entire lot with a new asphalt surface course.
The University was extremely pleased that our crews were able to maintain traffic control, fix the lot properly and resurface the lot while adhering to a tight schedule.
