About the Rochester Division serving the Henrietta area

From its convenient location, the Rochester Division focuses on serving the Western New York Area market as well as the western Southern Tier. Founded in Syracuse in 1943, Ruston Paving often traveled to the Rochester area for select projects. As the commute became more frequent, Ruston Paving recognized this opportunity by opening a new division here. Although the Rochester Division initially operated utilizing resources from our Syracuse Division, it quickly became a self sufficient operation. In 1998, the Rochester Division relocated to a newly constructed facility located just off the New York State Thruway (I-90) in Farmington, NY and continues to operate out of this location providing asphalt paving services in Rochester, NY, and the Western New York region.

Jeff Pawlicki - NY Regional Manager

Jeff Pawlicki

NY Regional Manager

Jeff graduated from Clarkson University with a degree in civil engineering and has spent his professional career in civil construction management and team leadership. Since coming on board with Ruston Paving in 2002, he has since come up through the ranks and currently oversees all our New York Divisions. In his free time, Jeff enjoys family campfires, anything to do with powersports, mountain biking, staying physically fit, and especially family vacations on ocean beaches.

Alex Marchese

Division Manager

A Buffalo native, Alex earned a degree in civil engineering technology from Rochester Institute of Technology. Alex began his career at Ruston Paving in 2005, bringing expertise in project management & estimating to the team. Now, with over two decades of construction experience, he oversees our western New York division as the Rochester division manager. Alex enjoys traveling, the outdoors, and most of all family time with his wife and kids, and he highly values his relationships with customers and subcontractors.

Ben Thomas

Project Manager

Before graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology with a civil engineering degree, Ben began his career as an intern at Ruston Paving. Upon graduation, he officially joined the Ruston Paving team in 2014. Since that time, he has worked for Ruston Paving as a project manager in our Rochester Division. In his free time, Ben enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Equipped with a degree in civil engineering technology and a passion to learn, Derek began his career in construction building golf courses and joined the team at Ruston Paving in 2005 as a field operations manager. It has been a rewarding experience working with such a diverse and talented group of individuals. In his spare time, Derek enjoys traveling and being on the water with his wife and 2 sons.
