Because present-day Henrico County curves around the City of Richmond, surrounding it to the west, the north, and the east, it serves as one of our Richmond Division's most important areas.
Located in the central part of the state and along the popular I-95 corridor, Richmond is the 4th largest city in Virginia. The Greater Richmond Region includes the cities of Richmond, Petersburg, Hopewell and Colonial Heights. In the past, Ruston Paving was able to satisfy the demand for work and asphalt paving services for Richmond, VA, and surrounding areas in Central Virginia from our Northern VA Division and our Raleigh/Durham Division. Ideally located halfway between these two locations and acting as one of the gateways to the Hampton Roads area of Virginia (Norfolk, Newport News and Virginia Beach), Central Virginia quickly became an obvious choice for expansion.

Ruston Paving's Richmond Division recently undertook a significant asphalt paving project at the USPS Sandston location, showcasing our expertise in transforming spaces. The project involved the conversion of the existing employee overflow lot into tractor trailer parking, a task that required careful planning and precise execution. This undertaking was especially challenging given the location's importance, as it is one of the larger distribution centers in Richmond, necessitating a meticulous phasing strategy to maintain uninterrupted deliveries.

Partnering with Commonwealth Commercial, our crews from our Richmond Division completed a high profile asphalt milling and paving project at the Medical Society of Virginia (MSV), to enhance the facility's infrastructure.
