Our Raleigh/Durham Division's Leadership Team
Mark Rogers
Mark graduated with a degree in civil engineering from Clarkson University. After graduation, Mark went to work with Ruston as a project manager in the Syracuse Division. In 1999, Mark moved south to North Carolina to start the Durham Division. In 2003, he helped start the division in Greensboro. He currently oversees both North Carolina operations and holds a North Carolina general contractor license. Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time with family and friends, hunting, and coaching youth competitive shooting sports.
Jory Alteri
Jory graduated from East Carolina in 2000 with a degree in construction management. Jory has spent his entire professional career here at Ruston Paving, working up through the ranks and is currently the division manager of the Raleigh/Durham Division. In his free time, Jory enjoys youth sports with his children.
Kevin Maira
Kevin graduated with a construction engineering and management degree from NC State and worked three semesters as an engineering intern in New York City through a Cooperative Education Program. Kevin began his career at Ruston Paving in 2002 where he enjoys the ever-changing landscape of projects and customers. Kevin enjoys outdoor activities by traveling internationally as well as to our own national parks.
Ben Mallalieu
Ben graduated from Virginia Tech with a civil engineering degree. After spending the first five years of his career on the design side of the industry, he found the light and joined Ruston Paving in 2013. Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 kids, playing, and coaching sports, and getting back to Blacksburg for VT football games.
Hans Kattrein
While studying at the University at Buffalo, earning a degree in civil engineering, Hans began his career interning for Ruston Paving. After completing two summers of internship, Hans joined our team full time serving as a project manager in 2020. During his free time, Hans enjoys hunting, fishing, and days on the lake with friends and family.
Brial Heal, Jr.
Brian joined the Ruston Paving team in 2020 as the field operations manager of the Raleigh/Durham Division. After spending most of his life in Maine, he relocated to North Carolina with his wife and two kids. They enjoy the year-round sporting events the kids can now enjoy with the much-improved weather. Baseball and soccer are currently monopolizing all their free time.
