The general contractor has been trying unsuccessfully over the past several months to get the subgrade to pass so they could install stone base for the new road. The subgrade was in such poor condition the morning that we showed up that our 6 x 6 off road spreader truck was getting stuck in the low lying areas. Within a couple of hours of mixing in the portland cement, the road was driveable by a passenger car. The geotech from Terracon was extremely pleased with the process and said, "Glad to finally get through this one."
