Ruston Paving once again participated in the Rochester Construction Career Day. 2012 marks the 15th year the event has taken place. The purpose of the career day is to provide area high school students with a unique and informative look at the construction industry in hopes of generating interest in the skilled trades. With the skills gap continuing to grow, it is more important than ever to educate our young workforce that the trades are a viable career choice. Utilizing a scale model of a parking lot, we were able to demonstrate the use of a laser level to ensure proper surface drainage.
