This panoramic picture shows the scope of work Ruston Paving recently completed at the new Post Exchange (PX) Shopping Center at Fort Belvoir, which is located southwest of Washington, DC. The present PX is being replaced with this new 263,500 square foot shopping center that will serve the more than 7,100 soldiers and their families stationed on post. With a total footprint of more than 27 acres, the new PX not only has a grocery store but will also contain a military clothing store, several restaurants and service activities.
This project marks the fifth project Ruston Paving has completed at Fort Belvoir and our second with Walbridge Aldinger Company, who served as the general contractor.
