We were first contacted and contracted by Nigro Companies about a small amount of milling and resurfacing in front of their Price Chopper tenant at the Gateway Plaza in Ogdensburg. It was a strip of travel lane directly in front of the busy supermarket and required attention to traffic control and pedestrian safety. The small project was a success.
The following Spring, we were again contacted about taking this same scope of work to a much larger section of the plaza to improve a very deteriorated plaza parking lot. The entire work area had to be performed in phases to keep all the tenants operational. Ruston Paving was able to self-perform this work, allowing for a smooth transition between the milling and paving portions of the scope of work, as well as keep adequate parking areas and pedestrian foot traffic open safely.
