Village Green Apartments – Baldwinsville, New York
Ruston Paving was contracted by Dawn Homes, the owners of Village Green Apartments, to mill off 4" of the existing pavement and install a new surface course of asphalt at one of the complex's parking lots. However, once the existing material was removed, it was apparent that the subbase was too soft, which was the cause of the pavement's failure. Dawn Homes was already familiar with the benefits of full depth reclamation, having used the process on one of its other properties. So when FDR was proposed, they agreed to that viable option. Now that the subbase has been stabilized and the new asphalt layer installed, the parking lot will provide years of value to Dawn Homes and the residents at Village Green.
