The end of this construction season marked the end of John Sanford's tenure with Ruston Paving as he has decided to retire. John has been a driver in our Syracuse division for 20 years, and a more dependable employee we could never have. When John started with Ruston Paving, Syracuse was the company's only division. Never afraid to always speak his mind and letting us know ways to improve, John has helped our company grow into what it is today. For a number of years, John has held the informal title of "truck boss" in Syracuse and he will be sorely missed. John is pictured above receiving his commemorative watch from Don Clark, Ruston Paving's chief operating officer, marking his 20 years of service and with the ticket from the last load of material he'll ever haul.
