Rochester Management, Inc. contracted with Ruston Paving to mill and resurface the only access road to one of their largest apartment complexes, Whipple Park. Whipple Park is primarily occupied by undergraduate and graduate students attending the University of Rochester (U of R) as well as employees of the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC). With the U of R and URMC being the largest employers in the Rochester region, this complex is usually fully occupied and very busy. Alex Marchese, a Rochester division project manager, was tasked to continuously provide access for all residents and public transportation. Flagmen at both ends were utilized to maintain single lane alternating 
traffic. To minimize disruption, it was in the customer's best interest to complete the 82,000 sf project in a very short time span. Thus, we completed the milling, cleaning, application of Petromat paving fabric, and asphalt paving in just 2 short days. Thanks to our skilled crews and project management, The U of R and Rochester Management were grateful for the quick turn around and quality product.
