The boat ramp at Honeoye Lake Boat Launch State Park needed some major reconstruction. Contracting Management, Inc. was the general contractor on the project and the state of the pavement was one glaring issue that had to be rectified. The blacktop was breaking up. After field cores were completed, it was determined that the original paving contractor did not install the asphalt layers to the proper design specifications. Ruston Paving to the rescue! We were able to mill the old blacktop off and put in 3 new lifts of asphalt while keeping the ramp open to the public. Another fantastic job completed by our crew in blue!
