Recently, Ruston Paving got to participate in a unique experience. The Mebane branch of Gregory Poole CAT invited our Durham division to a demonstration of a Caterpillar excavator simulator. As Gregory Poole is trying to start an operator training school at Alamance Community College, they can use the simulator as a way to teach the basics of operations to students.
While one of our grading foremen Jeff Corlis is no rookie, he had a chance to give this machinery a test run. Seems very educational and a little fun to boot!
