Based on the geotechnical recommendations of Terracon, a consulting engineer, quicklime was specified as a drying and stabilizing agent for the construction site of the new Pine Hollow Middle School. While Balfour Beatty Construction Company is the general contractor, Sullivan Eastern, the project's site contractor, knew of our capabilities and contracted Ruston Paving to stabilize the site.
Although this will be a multi-phased and multi-year project, we started our portion of the job by stabilizing the area under the building pads so construction could begin on solid ground.
