Ben Miller - VA Regional Manager

Ben Miller

VA Regional Manager

Ben graduated from Clarkson University in 2001 with a degree in civil engineering. After graduation, he began working for Ruston Paving as a project manager in our Rochester Division. In 2006, he opened the Northern Virginia Division. Ben still lives in Northern Virginia and oversees both the Northern Virginia and Richmond offices. Ben enjoys spending time with his family and friends, coaching his two kids’ sports teams, reading, and staying active.

Joey Shutt

Division Manager

Joey graduated from Virginia Tech in 2008 with a degree in civil engineering where he was a VDOT Scholar. He has spent his entire professional career at Ruston Paving, working the first six years in our Northern Virginia office before starting our Richmond Division. Outside of work, Joey enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, playing tennis, and cheering on the Hokies.

Tom Mallalieu

Project Manager

Tom graduated from Virginia Tech in 2018. While in school, he interned with Ruston Paving for three summers before starting full time as a project manager in our Greensboro division. Tom relocated to our Richmond division in 2022. He enjoys time with his family and friends, playing golf, and HOKIE FOOTBALL.

Field Operations Manager

Seth graduated from Virginia Tech in 2024 with a master’s degree in construction sciences and management where he was inducted into Sigma Lambda Chi, a scholastic honor society. He interned with Ruston Paving for two summers before joining the team full time as the field operations manager in our Richmond division. Seth is fluent in Spanish and loves the outdoors. If he is not hunting, fishing, or grilling, he is spending time with his family.
