Ruston Paving doesn’t normally pave residential driveways; but, for this house, we made an exception! Our Northern VA Division was contracted to mill the top 2” of asphalt and overlay the White House’s North Grounds Driveway with a new asphalt surface course in our nation’s capital.
The project was a great success but also challenging due to the security, logistics and tight one week schedule. We paid extra attention to the granite curbs to protect them during the milling and paving process. We also installed a sand laydown area on Pennsylvania Avenue to protect it from possible stains. Everyone involved showed a lot of pride and enjoyed working on this project.
