Crews from our Triad Region of NC Division recently performed some repairs to the shopping center's parking lot for Palms Associates, a repeat customer of Ruston Paving. We coordinated with the owner and the store managers of the Barnes & Noble and Havertys to determine the best approach for minimizing the disruption to store operations. Ultimately, we were able to repair the damaged portions of the parking lot while allowing both stores to remain open during construction.
By staggering our milling and paving crews, sections were started and completed in the same day. As this was an active parking lot, we used cones, string line and caution tape to ensure a safe work zone. The two days of repairs were completed without a hitch, and we received many compliments along the way.
