Our crews returned for another year to perform some pavement improvements at Remington Arms during the company's annual summer shutdown. This year's repairs called for us to mill out or excavate deteriorated asphalt, fine grade the existing stone base of the replacement areas, and install lifts of asphalt binder and asphalt top.
The 2011 improvements mark the 5th year in a row that Ruston Paving has done work at the plant. Once again, we were able to complete the necessary work before the plant reopened, which is of the utmost importance - a task we have never failed to accomplish.
