Ruston Paving had been in discussions with Kmart for nearly 7 years to come up with a cost effective solution to rehabilitate the parking area of its Reidsville store. After exhausting several options, it was decided that full depth reclamation with Portland cement would provide the best results. The parking area was divided into sections that allowed the continued full operation of the store. The ability to shorten the construction schedule and allow traffic onto the rehabilitated area is one of the many advantages of utilizing this reconstruction technique.
