3D Man with megaphone spreading Ruston Paving news

GlaxoSmithKline – RTP, North Carolina

FDR at GSKPaving at GSK Moore Drive, on GSK's campus, was in need of some major reconstruction.  Instead of full depth replacement, Johnson Controls, GSK's maintenance contractor, took Ruston Paving's suggestion to utilize the process of full depth reclamation with Portland cement.  This not only saved GSK money; it also gave them a much better product while reducing the amount of time that the road was closed to traffic.  Once the roadway was pulverized, mixed, hydrated, graded and compacted, our paving crew was mobilized on-site to install two lifts of asphalt pavement. In order to limit the disruption to GSK, our crews performed much of the work on the weekends and off-hours.  Also, this job marks the 15th project we have completed for Johnson Controls and we are proud to continue to partner with them.
