Bowman Gray Stadium

Bowman Gray Stadium – Winston-Salem, NC

Bowman Gray Stadium located in Winston-Salem North Carolina is NASCAR’s first and longest running weekly track. It is a quarter-mile short track that has been around since the founding fathers of NASCAR, Bill France Sr. and Alvin Hawkins, began the tradition in 1949. This is also the location of Richard Petty’s 100th winning race.

Ruston Paving is proud to be involved with the renovations at Bowman Gray Stadium. Renovations are being completed in coordination with Frank L. Blum Construction, one of the oldest general contractors in North Carolina. Our crews installed asphalt pavement above the seats on the concourse this spring. In the fall, we are scheduled to pave the track surface utilizing dual consecutive pavers in tandem.
