The Aspen House Community Center is used for a wide variety of community and RCA (Radisson Community Association) activities. It is the home of the Radisson Nursery School, the meeting place of many local Boy Scout and Girl Scout groups, Radisson Community Association Board and Committee meetings and RCA recreation activities. It is also available for rent by members for private parties, receptions, etc.
Because of the tremendous use the center gets, the RCA decided to build a new parking lot adjacent to the center's current parking area. Per the scope of the contract, Ruston Paving was responsible for clearing the site, removing the wet unsuitable soil and replacing it with stone on which we paved 2 lifts of asphalt. The extremely wet spring weather hampered our efforts but we were able to overcome this obstacle and provide a stable parking lot that will serve the Radisson community for many years.
