Thomas Jefferson High School – Alexandria, Virginia
Ruston Paving is coming down the home stretch towards completion of the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology project. With total costs of approximately $89 million, the renovation modernizes the school's aging facilities, many of which had not been updated since the school was built in the mid-1960's.
Over the life of the project, which began in the Spring of 2013, our Manassas division's crews have installed more than 8,000 tons of stone and 11,000 tons of asphalt, which marks this as one of the largest jobs in Ruston Paving's history. These construction photos feature two of our paving crews as they pave in front of the school and its new Monticello dome.
