Ruston Paving has been called upon to stabilize the building pad for the new Amazon Distribution Center being built just outside The Triangle. The distribution center will be a four-story, 2.6-million-square-foot distribution center, employing up to 1,500 people.
In order to ensure the building's construction was not compromised by weather delays or marginal soils, the decision was made to stabilize the area with Portland cement. Plateau Excavation, the general contractor on the project, has been very pleased with the efforts of our crews and our ability to stay ahead of the other trades.
The building is slated to be completed in the fall of 2019.
