We are pleased to announce that Tim McConnell has joined the Ruston Paving team. Tim comes to Ruston Paving from the Portland Cement Association (PCA) where he was responsible for promoting the use of cement based materials for pavement applications.
We were introduced to Tim while preparing our proposal and subsequently constructing the Spotsylvania bus parking facility in the spring of 2009. Since then, he has assisted us as a consultant on various Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) and soil cement projects. He is a registered geologist having received a B.S. in geology from Western Carolina University and has since completed his Masters of Science Degree in civil engineering from North Carolina State University.
Tim will be responsible for promoting FDR and soil stabilization company-wide as it pertains to pavement design. He’ll also provide in-house soil consultation for all project managers.
